Explains how Journi collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information through the Platform and commerce relationship.

6.1 Introduction

Genecis Bio Inc. and its subsidiaries, doing business as Journi Health, respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information Journi collects through the Platform and Service in connection with the sale of Research Products.

6.2 Age Limitation

The Journi Service is intended for adults meeting the age requirement in the Terms and Conditions. We do not knowingly direct the Service to children under that age. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete or otherwise address it.

6.3 Information We Collect

  • Identifiers and contact data, including name, email, phone number, account credentials, billing and shipping address;
  • Demographic and verification data, such as date of birth and identity-verification information where required;
  • Payment and transaction data, including order history, subscription status, refunds, and limited payment information from processors;
  • Communications and content you submit, including support requests, forms, and files;
  • Device, browser, network, cookie, advertising identifier, and usage information;
  • Information received from service providers, fraud-prevention vendors, fulfillment partners, carriers, and other parties involved in requested services.

6.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, measurement, service improvement, fraud prevention, and, where permitted, advertising. See the Cookie Policy for details and available controls.

6.5 How We Use Personal Information

  • Provide accounts, products, subscriptions, shipping, and customer support;
  • Process transactions, prevent fraud, verify identity, and maintain security;
  • Communicate confirmations, service notices, shipping updates, support responses, and permitted marketing;
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, audit, and recordkeeping obligations;
  • Improve, test, analyze, personalize, and secure the Platform;
  • Protect the rights, safety, property, and integrity of Journi, users, and third parties.

6.6 How We Disclose Personal Information

  • Payment processors, identity-verification vendors, fulfillment partners, carriers, customer-support vendors, IT/cloud providers, analytics providers, and other service providers;
  • Advertising or measurement partners, subject to your choices and applicable law;
  • Affiliates and professional advisors;
  • Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, security obligations, or to protect rights and safety;
  • Parties to a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

6.7 Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; withdraw consent; or appeal a denied request. Submit requests to info@healthjourni.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

6.8 Global Privacy Control and Browser Controls

Where required by applicable law, Journi will process recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control for the browser or device sending the signal. You may also control cookies through our consent tools and your browser/device settings.

6.9 Sensitive Personal Information

Journi does not, in the ordinary course of operating an RUO commerce platform, request or require symptom, condition, diagnosis, medication, or treatment-interest information from purchasers, and Research Product purchases do not involve any medical intake. If a particular feature (for example, a product-selection questionnaire) collects information that constitutes Consumer Health Data or other sensitive personal information under applicable state law, that collection will be separately disclosed at the point of collection, handled consistent with applicable law, and not sold. We do not sell sensitive personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not use it for targeted advertising where prohibited by law.

6.10 Communications

You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message and from marketing SMS by replying STOP. We may still send non-promotional messages necessary to provide requested services or fulfill legal obligations.

6.11 Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing requested services, maintaining transaction and compliance records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type, context, and law.

6.12 Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, used, or disclosed without authorization.

6.13 U.S. Processing and Jurisdiction

Journi is a U.S.-based service. Personal information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law and contractual safeguards.
